A training program entitled “A Social Entrepreneurship Approach to Social Problems” was conducted on March 27, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Hitit University, with strong participation from students.
The program was organized within the scope of the UNIDES (University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program), supported by the General Directorate of Youth Services, and coordinated by our department student Hilal Yılmaz. The training was delivered by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Nevzat Gencer.
The program addressed social entrepreneurship as a framework for developing sustainable and long-term solutions to social problems, highlighting its role in fostering solution-oriented thinking skills among individuals. In addition, selected national and international case examples were presented to illustrate practical applications in the field.
The event concluded with a plaque presentation ceremony followed by a group photo session.
